Social media, donations and observers

1)  Contact Groups:

·     Each City Pastor who has internet access should receive newsletters and messages through email by being part of the Bath City Pastor Google Group.

·     If you do not have access to the Google Group, contact either the Rota Lead, Recruitment Lead or the BCP coordinator to arrange this.

  • Membership of the Bity Pastors Bath WhatsApp Group is also encouraged (managed by rota lead and recruitment lead).

·     Those without internet access should arrange with a friend to have messages relayed to them.

2)  Sharing Stories:

·     Please email any stories of interest to bcitypastors@gmail.com or the BCP Team Leader.

·     These can offer an opportunity to reflect and to encourage each other. Please send any suitable photos if appropriate. Stories can be ciculated on the website and in newsletters.

3)   Media and VIP visits

For mainstream media enquiries or dignitaries going on patrol, consult a member of the BCP Steering Group for advice before action.

4)   Donations to City Pastors:
Anyone wishing to donate to City Pastors can do so:

·     By paying straight into our Lloyds Bank account: Bath City Pastors Ac/no. 37495862
Sort Code 30 98 97 giving their name as reference. (An accompanying email to treasurer@bathcitypastors.org.uk confirming the amount and name of the donor would be appreciated.) If anyone is eligible to claim gift aid, please ask them to request a gift aid form so that a mandate can be set up.

5)   Observers

·     We welcome observers to patrol with Bath City Pastors, with prior agreement from the BCP Rota Lead, or at the discretion of the shift leader at short notice. They are to wear a reflective tabard, and the leader is to ensure they are suitably chaperoned.

·     All observers are to have signed the agreement form in the blue folder at the base. The shit leader to send a copy (photo) to the recruitment lead.

·     Also at the discretion of the shift leader, any Prayer Pastors can take a turn on the streets as an observer if desired.
